St Isaacs Cathedral

St. Isaac’s Cathedral is the second largest Orthodox church in Russia after the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. It is dedicated to St. Isaac of Dalmatia honoured by Peter the Great himself and who was born on a memory day of the Saint – in May 30th. The cathedral was rebuilt four times.
