200 years ago healers of Odessa, Ukraine, colcluded that local mud has miraculous healing properties and insisted on building a medical centre here. Soon it became the most famous in the Empire and later – in the Soviet Union. Citizens of Odessa liked mud treatment very much so in the 80s three hire-rise buildings more appeared on the territory of the sanatorium. Pictures of one of them are inside this post. Unfortunately today it is fully abandoned.
